No. All services are provided by appointment only to ensure privacy, accuracy, and efficient service.

Please bring:

• A valid, unexpired government‑issued photo ID

• Any required ORI numbers or agency‑specific forms

• Documents needing notarization (if applicable)

Tip: Moisture your hands the night before if dry, and avoid lotion immediately before fingerprinting.

An ORI (Originating Agency Identifier) Number identifies the agency requesting your Live Scan fingerprinting and specifies the purpose of the background screening.

The ORI number tells the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE):

• Which agency is requesting your fingerprints

• The type of background screening required

• Where your results should be sent

Once your fingerprints are captured, FDLE securely transmits the results directly to the requesting agency’s clearinghouse or database. SheScan Solutions does not receive or control the results.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as Apple Pay when booking online. Payments can also be made in person via Zelle, Apple Pay or Cash.

• Services that require a deposit are non-refundable if canceled within 24 hours or in case of a no-show.
  
• For cancellations outside this window, contact us to reschedule.

Most Live Scan appointments take 10–15 minutes. Notary appointments vary depending on the number of documents. 

Results are processed by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) or the requesting agency. Processing times vary, but most results are available within a few business days.

Live Scan fingerprints are submitted electronically to the appropriate agency. You will receive a confirmation of submission, but not a physical copy of the prints.

If your fingerprints are rejected due to quality, you may be eligible for a free resubmission depending on the agency’s policy. Bring your rejection letter to your resubmission appointment.

For clients booking mobile services in Duval County and surrounding counties:

• Ensure the location is safe, well‑lit, and suitable for completing services
• Have all required documents ready upon arrival
• Group appointments should have all individuals present at the scheduled time
